Non-Refundable Cases

- License keys that have been shared, sold, or transferred to others

How to Request a Refund
As Polar is our merchant of record and handles all payment processing, refunds are managed directly through Polar's platform:

- Include Purchase Details: Provide your order confirmation email, license key, or any purchase receipt you received
- Polar Processing: Once we approve your refund request, Polar will process the refund through their payment system

Polar acts as our merchant of record for all transactions. This means:
- Polar processes all payments on our behalf
- Polar handles refund processing and payment reversals
- Your refund will be issued through Polar's payment system
- Polar's refund policies and processing times apply
Refund Process
License Deactivation
Upon approval of your refund request:
- Your license key will be permanently deactivated
- You will no longer be able to use MeasuredMoney with that license
- Your local data remains on your device and can be exported before deactivation
Refund Method
As Polar is our merchant of record, they handle all refund processing:
- Refunds are processed by Polar, our merchant of record, through the original payment method used for purchase
- If you paid by credit card, the refund will appear on your card statement within 5-10 business days
- For other payment methods, refund timing may vary based on Polar's processing and your payment provider's policies
- Refund timing is subject to Polar's payment processing schedules and policies
Processing Time
- We review and approve refund requests within 3-5 business days
- Once approved, Polar processes the refund through their payment system

Your Data After Refund
Since MeasuredMoney stores all your financial data locally on your device, your data remains on your computer even after a refund.
- Your transaction history, budgets, and account information stay on your device
- We recommend exporting your data to CSV before the license deactivation
- To completely remove all data, simply uninstall the application from your device
- We never have access to your financial data, so we cannot delete it for you
